How this site works, in plain terms
When you visit, this site sets one functional cookie by default, used only to keep your page experience consistent across visits (which variant of a page you see, so it doesn't change on you mid-visit). That cookie is the only thing this site stores in your browser. Nothing interrupts your visit to ask permission before that default cookie is set, because it is functional, not advertising or tracking for a third party. If your browser silently blocks that cookie (private browsing, a blocking extension, or similar), you still see the exact same default page — never a different "please enable cookies" page.
Your opt-out choice
You can turn tracking off at any time from the link in this site's footer, or from the toggle on this page. Opting out takes effect immediately, without reloading the page: every section of the page you're looking at switches to its plain default version, the functional cookie is deleted, anything we were about to record about this visit but hadn't sent yet is discarded, and nothing further is recorded for the rest of your visit. We keep no memory of your prior choice — if you opt back in later, that is a fresh start, not a resumption of anything from before.
What we collect, and what we deliberately don't
This site records first-party usage events only (which page sections you saw, which buttons you used) tied to an anonymous assignment id, never to a third-party advertising network. Your email address is never included in that usage-event data — it is only collected, separately, at the specific moments you choose to give it to us (joining a waitlist, asking to be notified, or paying at checkout). Your IP address is recorded on our server when you first visit, for security and fraud purposes, and is never sent back to your browser and never included in the usage-event data either.
Payment and refunds
Refunds: enrolling reserves a seat, and that seat is taken off the market the moment you pay. For that reason, we issue a full refund only if your seat is refilled and paid for by someone joining from the waitlist before your cohort starts. If your seat is not refilled and paid for from the waitlist, no refund is issued, including after the cohort starts.
Third parties
Stripe processes payment; we never see or store your card number. Supabase hosts the database this site's data lives in. Each has its own privacy practices for the data it directly handles.
